“Why am I not getting my period when taking metformin?”
I am on metformin for my PCOD. Until now, I was getting my periods regularly with this medication, but for the past couple of months, I haven't. What could be wrong? I'm also not experiencing any symptoms of pregnancy and took two tests.

PCOD leads to amenorrhea (absence of menstruation) and no ovulation. Try blood tests for pregnancy.
Have you had your hormones checked? Metformin may not be enough to make you ovulate. You may need other medications to make ovulation occur. Please see an OB/Gyn who deals with infertility.
