My mother underwent a hip bone replacement surgery 2 weeks ago. Should she see a physiatrist to improve her walk and become comfortable after the surgery?

If she is in a lot of pain, a treatment plan can be given to get her back to walking, however, the best person is a physiotherapist for rehab.
Yes, definitely. He or she will set your mom up for specific types of PT depending on the type of surgical approach that your mom's surgeon has taken to perform the surgery. Do not forget metabolic recovery as well. Surgery puts lots of stress on one's body. Don't get depleted from your vitamins/minerals and cortisol levels. Ask a functional medicine physician to help you out on that as well.
She will benefit from seeing a physiatrist if she will require an inpatient rehab stay prior to returning home. Much of that depends on her prior level of function and her living situation.
