“Should I start physical therapy after 2 weeks of having my cast removed?”
I fractured my hand after falling, and I had a cast for 6 weeks. Its been 2 weeks since the cast was removed. Should I start physical therapy?

Mobility, regaining muscle strength and range of motion is imperative to remain functional and independent after cast removal. Please see a PT in your local area for formal assessment, treatment, and plan of care.
Having an X-ray will be very helpful to determine if it's healed enough to start range of motion and strengthen exercises.
Short answer is yes. The physical therapist should consult with your physician prior to starting the treatment
Yes earlier interventions have been shown to equate to better outcomes with increased ROM, strength and flexibility.
