What are the precautions that we should all be taking when a family member is down with flu? We do not want it to spread around the house.

Everyone in the house should see their doctor and get a prescription for Tamiflu (oseltamivir). It is excellent at preventing transmission.
We do Tamiflu for everyone, lower dose, not as long.
