Respiratory Therapist Questions Smoking

I quit smoking six months back. Should I get my lung function measured?

I have been a smoker for the past 20 years. I recently quit about 6 months back. Should I get a lung function test done to measure the performance of my lungs?

Congratulations on quitting!! I sincerely hope you keep it up. If you are not experiencing any lung problems you don’t need to get any test done. Just continue on staying away from smoking and you will be good. Start exercising regularly or at least do daily walks.
