“By when in a pregnancy can the radiologist see any deformities in the growing fetus?”
I am 3 months pregnant and I am extremely worried as my first child is suffering from ADHD. I initially did not want to have another child but did so after discussing with my husband and family. By when will the doctor know if there are any complications in the baby?

Ultrasound can see major anomalies by 3-4 months. With regard to ADHD in your current and possibly future child, I say fear not....I'm a poster child for ADHD...with love and guidance, your children shall do well. Fear not, God is with you.
You can usually tell if there are physical abnormalities during a second trimester ultrasound done for anatomy. Organogenesis starts at 6 weeks and ends around 10 weeks. Ultrasound from 3 months to 6 months after conception (2nd trim) is best for looking at the anatomy.

That is rather loaded question. Certain things will show up earlier than others. One of the most important things you can do is to stop worrying. This releases hormones which are probably not really great for the baby. Tranquility in motherhood is probably one of the best Defenses that you can personally have. Genes are going to do what genes do, But genes are somewhat controlled by stress as well.
