“I am having pain in my elbows. What could be the reason?”
For the last week I have been having a strange sharp pain in both of my elbows. I don't remember hurting them at all. What could be the reason for this pain?

If the pain persists, start with your family physician or a physical therapist for initial guidance. If they don't have answers and the pain persists, then you may wish to consult a specialist such as an orthopedic surgeon.

Good afternoon. This is a very broad question. Common elbow problems stem largely from overuse. Patient frequently get inflammation in there tendons on the outside of the elbow. Conversely, one can get paint on the inside of the elbow’s. These are commonly called tennis and golfers elbow is respectively. Most family physicians can diagnose these with relative ease. A Visit to an orthopedic surgical specialist would also be very beneficial. Most of these problems do not need surgical treatment
The most likely problem is lateral epicondylitis or tennis elbow. This comes from repeated forceful gripping with the hand. Treatment is to avoid gripping, a tennis elbow strap (by one at a sports store) and advil or aleve. If you don't get better in a few weeks, see an Orthopedic Surgeon.
