“Can a respiratory therapist work with people on the ventilator?”
My daughter is suffering from COPD and is on home ventilator. Can I call in a respiratory therapist at this point to help her out?

Yes, I used to and I worked with open-heart patients on vents, too.
Yes
If your daughter is on a home ventilator it should be being followed by a Respiratory Therapist. At least that is how it is done in NC other states may differ.
