Plastic Surgeon Questions Scars

How can a scar just above the eyes be removed?

I have a deep scar right above my right eye, going towards my eyebrows. The scar looks extremely ugly and is hard to hide even with makeup. Is there a way in which it can be removed permanently?

Scars, unfortunately, are permanent. As such, they cannot be removed permanently. However, many times they can be improved. This can be done in multiple ways, depending on the problem. Sometimes scars are re-excised and closed with more precision, sometimes they are moved to areas which are easier to hide. Occasionally, adjuvant therapies such as laser, peels, or microneedling can be effective. A consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon is your best bet for the safest and most optimal results.

It sounds as if you have a vertical scar on your forehead. I assume that it is at least 12 months old (it takes about that long for a scar to mature). A depressed scar can be improved with laser, dermabraision, or scar revision by surgically removing the scar, repairing the muscle under the skin, and creating multiple interdigitating flaps, then closing the skin. You may later need dermabraision. I would recommend that you see a BC plastic surgeon.
Dear,

Please send me some photos of your scar.

Thank you.
Almost all patients have redundant (extra) upper eyelid skin that can be used to remove unsightly scars in this area. While there will always be some remaining scar, the goal would be to camouflage it in the way we do for cosmetic procedures to rejuvenate the eyelid (blepharoplasty).
It would be helpful to know the age of the scar and the nature of the injury which caused it. However, if the scar is deep, with an irregular contour, it probably would benefit from a surgical scar revision. This is an elective procedure done after your scar has matured. I typically wait at least 10 months after the injury occurred. The old scar would be excised or carefully cut out. The new defect would then be meticulously sutured with stitches which are below the skin, so that they do not leave stitch marks.
Scars can either be surgically revised to look better or treated with a laser to look better. Usually, we can make them flatter, more even toned, thinner (less wide), etc...
I suggest you make a consultation appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon. Seeing your scar and its location in person can help the surgeon evaluate the possibilities which can be discussed with you.
No scar can be removed, only improved.
It can be improved, but not eliminated. Steroid cream or injections may help, so can laser treatments and surgical revision. See a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to determine which is best for you.
I would need to see picures and it would only be improved
