What are the physical signs to look out for that indicate deteriorating kidney function? I have kidney disorders in my family, and I really just want to be on the lookout.

The creatinine level and the estimated GFR that is calculated from the creatinine level and other measurements are the best and earliest indicators. The physical signs are late in the game, so watch the creatinine level.
