“Why does my skin turn red when exposed to the sun?”
My skin tends to turn completely red when exposed to the sun. What could be wrong? I feel like this is more than just having sensitive skin.

This sounds like it needs to be evaluated by a board certified dermatologist. There's a lot of possibilities from sun sensitivity due to medications, products you apply to the skin, or some other underlying skin condition.
Burning skin will always become red first. Simply don't get burn in the sun.
