My son's bone marrow cells are becoming damaged due to chemotherapy. Is a transplant an option. Till what stage will his body accept the transplant?

Depending on the specific disease, the prep for a bone marrow transplant is different. Chemotherapy is often needed before bone marrow transplant. It will be important to ask your son's doctors if they believe bone marrow transplant is an option to cure your son's cancer.
