I am a 34-year-old male who suffers from chronic back pain. I am tired of taking painkillers. What are alternate ways to manage chronic back pain?

Chiropractic is always going to be my first choice, but looking at physical therapy, massage, and/or acupuncture typically get great results with chronic low back pain. Those are amazing alternatives to living on pain killers.
Go to a corrective bio-mechanical Gonstead Chiropractor. Get corrective care. Afterwards make sure you do Maintenance Care. Then core exercises and specific LB exercises are essential.
Chiropractic, shoe orthotics (balance of the low back starts with the feet, exercise, use of CBD creams or oils for starters
Depending on what is causing the low back pain it can be difficult to manage, but chiropractic therapy and physical therapy have proven to be very effective at managing low back pain.
Hello,
Sorry to hear about your back pain. There is a cause to your pain and it is not a lack of pain killers. So, the cause of your pain needs to be diagnosed and treated effectively. The best treatment for most chronic lower back pain is manipulation of the joints that are causing the pain. That treatment is mostly performed by Chiropractic physicians or "Chiropractors". Find a local Chiropractor with great reviews and seek treatment. Chiropractors perform conservative treatment like manipulation, muscle work, stretching, physical therapy and sometimes acupuncture. If the treatment does not work within 4-6 weeks, an MRI should be ordered to rule out the need for an Orthopedic surgeon consult. Don't wait! Get the condition diagnosed and treated.
Good luck and take care.

Chiropractic is a great place to start since it focuses on the cause of the problem, instead of just treating symptoms. Hope I helped. Got your back! Dr Todd Gewant
