“What are the signs of kidney infections in kids?”
I think my daughter might have a kidney infection, but she's five years old. There isn't blood in her urine, but she has pain on her left side and a fever. Are these signs of a kidney infection?

Definitely it could be a pyelonephritis which is a kidney infection. She should have a urine culture to confirm it, but the PCP should be able to do the diagnosis with her clinical symptoms, physical exam and a urinalysis.
She should be evaluated, and if it is a kidney infection, she should be seen by a urologist to find out why she is getting a urine infection
