The bridge
Harder to clean (floss) than dental implants. Dentist must grind the adjacent teeth to place a bridge but with an implant that is not necessary.
The biggest disadvantage is that one has to place crowns on the two teeth adjacent to the space. also bridges may need to be replaced at about 10 years or so.
Bridges are a great alternative for replacing missing teeth, however, there are some disadvantages. When preparing for a bridge, the teeth on either side of the missing tooth/teeth will have to be shaved down. If the teeth have never had fillings before then this means cutting on perfectly okay teeth. Additionally, these teeth may end up needing root canals in the
future if they become hypersensitive after they are prepared. Cleaning under the bridge is a bit of a challenge as well. You will need to use either floss threaders or SuperFloss to properly clean under the bridge and around the teeth holding the bridge. If something happens to one of the teeth holding the bridge on, the entire bridge may need to cut off to address that one tooth.

When deciding on how to replace missing teeth, make sure you speak with your dentist regarding all options and what will work best for your individual needs.

Prosthodontics is the branch of dentistry that focuses on the design, fabrication and maintenance of artificial replacements of missing teeth. The practice of such forms of dentistry provide many patients with very valuable options for the replacement of missing or damaged teeth but the process is not without some peril.
Decay entering underneath the bridges and crowns if they are not fitted. A build-up of plaque and bacteria can occur only if they aren't properly placed.
The disadvantage of dental bridge are:
You will not be able to floss the bridge from the top of the teeth ! Must use floss threader to go from underneath as opposed to regular teeth. Meaning it may take additional time to clean underneath the sides of the teeth holding the bridge, and that is vital for the longevity of keeping the dental bridge.
The preparation of the teeth holding the bridge, is of vital importance, since preparation is needed, the expertise of the dentist, not to over prepare the teeth, and create parallelism and retention on the abutment teeth can bring success or failure! a dental bridge or crowns is usually cemented in, therefore if a bridge comes out, usually it is because of lack of retention during preparation. Over preparation of teeth usually results in failure or possibly root canals. for more disadvantage click here: https://celebritydentist.com/dental-bridges/
