I don't know of any pressure points to relieve neck pain. There are many points that can be used in acupuncture, but it depends on what is causing the pain.

I went to school for 3.5 years to learn this medicine. I can't teach it to you in a question and answer blog. Plenty of books out there.... but that's not real Chinese medicine just knowing a few points... it lacks the diagnostic background of what is causing the pain and what points fix that imbalance, that requires full training in the medicine.
This is a very difficult question to answer as I would need to first evaluate where the neck pain is. In many cases neck pain can stem from tight shoulders.
When is the pain worse? In the morning? This indicates a position problem when sleeping.
If the pain is worse later in the day, this indicates that there may be muscle weakness or fatigue causing the issue.
Neck pain can also be structural.
Self-care may be what is necessary at this point depending on the above responses.
We offer not only acupuncture and chiropractic for these problems but we also train you on new lifestyle habits that will help post treatment.

There are many acupuncture points that can be used as pressure points to relieve neck. You may google these points (GB 20,GB 21, GB 12, UB 10, Bai Lao, Ding Chuan) and use them to relieve your pain. additionally you should press any tender points 50x each or until it isn't tender anymore. Also, perhaps look up some neck stretches on YouTube. Those would be helpful. :)
There are many pressure points that can be used to treat a neck pain and there are many conditions that caused a neck pain. Pressure points need to be used according to the condition diagnosed to receive the maximum effect.

Hi! It depends on if it’s in the spine itself or muscle tension. It would probably need to be assessed to determine for sure but a great trick to decrease inflammation and pain in general is to take an epsom salt bath.

At the base of your neck, under the occipital ridge are two points, called GB 20, which, if pressed, are highly effective to relieve neck pain.
Thank you for your question.
Thank you for your question.
There are many points can reduce the neck pain by pressure. For example, you can find reflective points where you have soreness feeling when you press them.
It depends on where the pain is located and what muscles are causing that pain. I would suggest seeing a massage therapist or acupuncturist for specific guidance.
Hello and thank you for your question! Two local points that are beneficial for neck pain are:
1. Half way between the back of your ear and your spine, right below your occiput
2. The highest point of your shoulder on your trapezius muscle, half way between your spine and end of shoulder.
Acupuncture is wonderful at relieving neck pain as well! Your practitioner can give you additional advice and points specifically related to your condition.

What points might be utilized are going to depend on where, precisely, you're experiencing the pain, what the pain feels like to you, whether or not the pain radiates, whether or not the pain you're experiencing is in fact radiating from somewhere else, if there is a time of day you predominantly experience the pain or if there's a time of day the pain is at its worst, whether or not the weather has any effect on the pain and whether hold/cold or pressure/no pressure makes the pain worse or better.
Pain is not simple to diagnose or treat and Chinese medicine does not use treatment "protocols". Treatments are individualized for each patient. Without actually seeing and diagnosing you, it's impossible to say where you could press and get relief.
