What are the risks of Mohs surgery?

I am a 54 year old female. My doctor recommended Mohs surgery for me. What are the risks of Mohs surgery?

There is no risk to Mohs Surgery!! This is the BEST procedure to make sure the entire tumor is completely removed.
The risks are the same as for any skin surgery. Black and blue, swelling, nerve sensation change, muscle function change. It’s best to ask your surgeon since location plays an important role in side effects.
