What are the symptoms of genital herpes on the face?

I was diagnosed with genital herpes years ago but recently I'm having tingling and burning in my face, arms, hands, and burning in the throat. At the same time as my genital area but no visible lesions. Is this herpes, is it transferable from my face? And if I already had it and get it somewhere else does it last long like the initial outbreak?

It sure could be. Yes, herpes can be transferred from one spot to another. Are you on chronic suppressive therapy --- such as taking acyclovir or famcyclovir daily?
