Professional guidance, behavioral and thinking changes, medication, nutrition, and regular exercise
Scheduling psychotherapy appointments, seeing a psychiatrist to see if you are a good candidate for medication, and practicing healthy habits and relaxation exercises on your own time (meditation, going on walks, resting, etc.).
Anxiety is alleviated by working through it in therapy. There are some medications you can take, but it only puts a small band-aid on it. You'll actually have to see a psychologist help you overcome this issue. Usually, this treatment is not too long if you keep up with the homework and are willing to look deep into your past issues.
Be well.
I would recommend some talk therapy focused on cognitive behavioral therapy that will assist in processing and coping with anxiety.

1) Figure out the source; 2) Treat with behavioral therapy; 3) Use medication; 4) Use meditation or mindfulness techniques.
Several things could help reduce anxiety. At times, medication may be indicated and psychiatrists can evaluate and may prescribe appropriate medication depending on the need. I do believe that therapy is highly recommended as it is more effective to be proactive and make therapeutic changes to alleviate symptoms of anxiety. Psychologists and other qualified professionals will help diagnose and provide effective psychotherapeutic treatment such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (BCT) in addition to more holistic approaches such meditation, practice of mindfulness and self-care.
