“What can cause sudden knee pain?”
Yesterday when I was running in the morning, I suddenly felt a shooting pain in my knees. I also find it difficult to bend my knees when sitting for too long. What could be the cause of this sudden pain?

Most common cause is bruised ligament or bruised meniscus. If it is prolonged for more than 2 weeks, it could be a tear in one of them.
