Likely olecranon bursitis from inflammation
It might be fluid in the joint caused by inflammation or injury, or it might be fluid in the bursa at the back of the elbow caused by leaning.
Most common reason for swelling in posterior (back) of elbow is olecranon bursitis. Occurs from leaning on, excessive motion and sometimes fibrous tissue in bursa. Can be relieve by eliminating causes if possible, aspiration with steroid injection and in some cases surgical removal. Good luck.
It has many causes, but it’s possible that it’s an Olecranon bursitis that's caused by pressure on your elbow. You must avoid pressure and if it’s not relieved, it needs aspiration and steroid injections, plus immobilization.
