What causing my eye to twitch?

My eye constantly twitches, and I'm not sure of what's really causing it. Could this be connected to some condition?

See an ophthalmologist.
This is blepharospasm or twitching of muscles
Blepharospasm or eyelid twitching is due to spasms of the eyelid muscles. Stress, excess adrenaline, high caffeine levels are possible causes. Rarely a neurological lesion like a tumour may need to be excluded if there is paralysis of facial or eyeball movements.
Could be too much caffeine, lack of sleep or a significant neuromuscular disease. See an Ophthalmologist for a diagnosis.
