Removing varicose veins doesn't use a device, per se. Depending on whether the varicose veins are because of a problem in a "trunk" vein that it attaches to, a procedure with a Laser or a Radiofrequency generator may be used on that vein. The varicose veins themselves are either injected with a medication to get them to close off and be reabsorbed by the body, or by removing them through a series of needle punctures using a micro hook to extract them.
