What does it mean if my child is wheezing?

I am a 39 year old female. I want to know what does it mean if my child is wheezing?

If your child is wheezing, it probably means that they have asthma or some severe allergy. They should be taken immediately to a pulmonologist (one who specializes in the lungs) for an evaluation to see what is causing this condition. Good luck, Darrell Lauer
You would need to go to a pulmonologist for that.
I would recommend that you take your child to his/her pediatrician and describe when your child is wheezing and the foods they are eating before the wheezing begins.
Does your child do this all the time or is it only occurring recently? It sounds like it could possibly be a respiratory infection.
