The pain in the left arm from heart attack varies between a heavy sensation to sharp pain that could radiate from the jaws. Heart attack is usually associated with other symptoms such as chest tightness, sweating and shortness of breath.
One of the most common is deep pressure.
A dull persistent pain radiating down the left arm associated with chest pain or pressure or a heaviness in the chest and arm is a sensation often described by those having a heart attack.
Symptoms of a heart attack in women include:

-Shortness of breath
-Sweating
-Chest pain radiating to the left arm or jaw (sharp shooting pain or dull pain)
