“What foods are good for your eyes?”
I am a 23 year old female. I know carrots are good for your eyes, but what other foods?

Antioxidants. In general, blueberries fruits with vitamin c and folic acid or folate. Tomatoes and multivitamins with zinc are good for age related macular degeneration.

Carrots are high in (guess what) carotene, an important vitamin nutrient. Eye health, particularly for the retina, is supported by deeply pigmented vegetables: Pumpkin, butternut squash, etc. Also, leafy greens like kale and spinach. Protection from the UV rays of the sun is also very important to reduce the progression of cataracts and to protect the retina.
Foods with Vitamins A through E. Dark leafy greens and colored fruits and vegetables are very good for your eyes.
