I am a 34 year old male. I want to know what happens if your spinal cord is damaged?

You are paralyzed
Generally the spinal cord doesn’t recover after injury. If after trauma the spine is unstable it needs to fixed. Physical therapy for long period of time is the only way after such injuries.
Could be serious. See a spinal surgeon now.
Pain, numbness, and/or weakness in extremities.
