For nerve pain in hands, topical creams containing capsaicin can help alleviate discomfort. Be sure to apply a small amount as too much may burn and cause pain. Also if your nerve pain is due to diabetes, controlling your blood sugar will help decrease pain as well. Additionally, physical therapy exercises and hand-strengthening exercises could also be beneficial. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it is crucial to consult with a healthcare professional to determine the underlying cause and explore further treatment options.

It depends upon the etiology of the pain. Some pain is due to compressive neuropathy and a surgical decompression may provide relief. Cervical etiologies may respond to non operative as well as operative treatments. Peripheral neuropathy pain may be lessened with medications .
Depends on the cause. Carpal tunnel for example is a nerve entrapment. Things like a carpal tunnel brace worn at night can help.
That really depends upon the reason you have "nerve pain" in your hands. The first thing you need to do is see a physician to get a proper diagnosis. The most common cause of "nerve pain" in the hands, meaning numbness and tingling, is carpal tunnel syndrome. If this is the diagnosis, then treatments include splints, cortisone injections and sometimes surgery. I recommend that you see a hand surgeon to first get a proper diagnosis.
Thank you for that question. It really depends on what is causing the nerve pain. If you have nerve pain from nerve compression, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, then a brace or a Cortizone shot or surgery could help your pain. However, if the nerve pain is from a different source, such as diabetic neuropathy, then there are very few reliable treatments for that source of nerve pain.
