You need a full consultation with a physician anesthesiologist to determine what anesthetic choices you will have. It depends on exactly what your heart conditions are, exactly what surgery you are planning, and what other medical conditions you may have. Your surgeon should be able to refer you to an anesthesiologist or you can call the office of the director of
anesthesiology at your hospital or nearest university hospital.
