Tylenol is the safest and best treatment for arthritic pain. There is a maximum daily dose allowed So you should make sure to read the bottle and not exceed this dose. You also shouldn’t take Tylenol if you have any liver issues. Most importantly you should have an evaluation by a physician so that they can make sure you have a comprehensive treatment plan with all possible options to help you succeed and do well!
The first step in management should be weight loss and exercise regimen. If pain persists I'll recommend to start with Tylenol, if not adequate control of the symptoms you can also add NSAIDs. At that time if still symptomatic you should see your physician for further management.

Greetings,

First issue is being your age and having "arthritis." You need a full physical exam with blood work by a physician. 19 is too young for just "arthritis," but to answer your question with a simple answer, is to take an anti-inflammatory. Motrin, Naprosyn, Advil, Aleve, aspirin. Over-the-counter dosing is okay, but you can actually take the following: Motrin or Ibuprofin, 600mg (3 x 200mg) = 3 pills every 6 hours. Research shows that 400mg or 2 pills every 4 hours is the most effective. Naprosyn, 2 pills every 12 hours. Aspirin 3 pills (325mg) every 6 hours, not to take more than 12 pills every 24 hours. Extra Strength Aspirin (500mg), 2 pills every 6 hours.
Good luck, but again, you need a proper evaluation, and make sure you are not pregnant before starting any medications.

Definitely not oxycodone!! Conventional wisdomAnd our teaching watch that Tylenol was very effective which is true however more recently recognizing that there is an inflammatory component Tomorrow starts right up cases that as a result anti-inflammatory maybe just as if not more effective Orly however I also find that many people do well with a topic we apply anti-inflammatory which can be prescribed or even icy hot kind of medications topically over the counter. Effective at that point you can be more prescribe medications higher class of one thing I will say is that at 19 if there’s arthritis question is what is the basis of ideology of your friends because generally most arthritis happens with break down to the dock at 19 years old I shouldn’t be the case which means I would suggest a visit to a rheumatologist to see if there’s something else going on besides arthritis as well. Just a thought
