Hi. Chinese medicine primarily uses acupuncture and traditional Chinese herbal remedies to support the body's own healing. Western medicine is the medical model that we're used to in the US which usually relies on pharmaceutical medications.
Both are good
Western medicine generally referred to a traditional medical approach to health such as pharmaceuticals, labs, imaging, etc. Whereas Chinese medicine generally refers to as an alternative approach to health with the use of Chinese herbs and techniques such as acupuncture Tai Chi, Qi Gong, etc.

Western medicine typically refers to drugs and surgical procedures.
Chinese medicine (usually worded Traditional Chinese Medicine) since western medicine is practiced as well in China, utilizes traditional herbal remedies found in China, acupuncture-the use of small needles to balance energies within the body, moxibustion-the burning of an herb mugwort over injuries or acupuncture points, and physical therapies such as gua sha and tui na.
