What is the life expectancy after open heart surgery?

I am a 62 year old male and I will have open heart surgery. What is the life expectancy after open heart surgery?

I have many patients who got open heart surgery more than 25 years ago. Now with good preventive measures, one can live to a normal lifespan.
If the heart muscle is normal and LVEF is normal, your life expectancy is the same as patients without surgery. If the heart muscle is weak, then it depends on the degree of weakness of the heart muscle.
