Otoplasty surgery is usually to undergo. Tenderness usually lasts a few days. Swelling will persist for a few weeks. Most patients are back to work/normal activity within 3 weeks. It may take three months before a delicate look returns to the ears. However, even when a little swelling remains the ears look better when they are set-back.
Approximately 10 days!
7-14 days, depending on whether there is cartilage work performed.
Depending on what kind of surgery, for otoplasty, stay off ears when sleeping for 3 to 4 weeks. Please consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon.
