Same as adults. Local anesthesia for the tooth, Sedation with nitrous oxides general anesthesia
Same as for any age.
Most of the time it is deep sedation with propofol.

The anesthesia would be same for adult and is based on procedure and how many wisdom are being removed... most oral surgeons do the surgery with a combination of IV sedation with local sedation

I personally had all four wisdom teeth extracted under local anesthesia. However, I think most dentists are offering IV sedation for an additional fee. Inquire if an anesthesiologist is involved.
An 18-year-old would be offered the same anesthetic choices as an adult. It depends on who will be providing anesthesia care whether he is offered local by the oral surgeon, plus sedation, or general anesthesia.
Local anesthesia by dentrist
