“What procedures are usually done in interventional radiology?”
I understand that radiology is a diverse field, with multiple sub-specialties within it. But I'm very curious about interventional radiology and what it's all about. What procedures are typically performed by an interventional radiologist?

Treatment of arterial and venous disease, embolization of fibroids and enlarged prostates, embolization to stop abnormal bleeding, draining fluid collections, biopsies, vascular access for antibiotics and chemotherapy.....all use different radiology equipment.
Just about anything from vascular interventions, biopsies, drainages, vascular imaging, cancer treatment, port placements, venous access, and many more.
