“What qualifies someone to be put in hospice?”
My mother says that they just put my aunt in hospice, but I thought that she was overcoming her illness. What usually qualifies someone to be put in hospice care?

Eligibility of hospice is decided by 2 physicians. The prognosis is 6 months or less if disease runs its usual course.
