Cardiologist Questions Bypass Surgery

What tests will I have at my cardiology follow up?

I will have my cardiology follow-up next week, and this is after I had a bypass surgery. What tests will I have done at my cardiology follow up? And what would they look for?

Probably a chest X-ray and ECG are all you need. If they are happy with you clinically, they may not even do these.

Post cardiac surgery physicians typically order an echocardiography to evaluate of heart function, and an electrocardiogram to rule out arrhythmia.
