Neurosurgeon Questions Alzheimer's Disease

What's the difference between Alzheimer's lesions and MS lesions?

Recently I was evaluated for MS, which has gotten significantly worse over the last 6 months. They actually did find MS lesions on the scan, but I'm worried that these could be Alzheimer's lesions instead. My memory has also been really bad. Is there a chance that the lesions are actually Alzheimer's? What's the difference? I'm also 45 years old.

The radiologist can see MS lesions on the MRI but cannot directly see Alzheimer lesions. No worries there.
