When should I take my child to the ER for breathing issues?

My son has breathing issues and wheezes sometimes. I was wondering when should I take my child to the ER for breathing issues?

Yes
THE CHILD MUST HAVE IMMEDIATE ATTENTION LIKE A VISIT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AND HAVE A DEFINITE DIAGNOSIS FOR THIS ACUTE PROBLEM. IT COULD BE ASTHMA EXACERBATION OR FOREIGN BODY IN THE AIRWAYS.
For children, never wait because a child can't express the intensity of it. Please don't wait when it comes to your child. In the meantime, use inhaler.
If your son is having a hard time breathing or not acting normal you should visit the ER.
If your son has wheezing which does not improve with coughing, or is breathing fast, or “pulling” at his neck or below his belly, then he needs to come into the ED right away. If he is unresponsive, then call 911.
