When should a blood test for dengue be done?

I am a 40 year old male. I want to know when should a blood test for dengue be done?

It should be tested around the fourth day after your symptoms have begun. The body needs time to make specific antibodies to fight Dengue. A hematocrit level greater than 20% is a sign of hemoconcentration and precedes shock. The early test for Dengue is immunoglobulin M (IgM) enzyme-linked, immunosorbent assay (ELISA), and immunoglobulin G (IgG) ELISA are the tests of choice after the first five days of illness. Thank you.
