when will my period start after stopping the pill?

I have been on the pill for a year. in june i went to france. in france i had missed several days and we’re taking two at a time or taking them late. i got my period the wednesday’s before the red pill began so with the white pills. that was on june 29th. i have not gotten my period yet. i stopped taking the pulled the day that period started. when can i go back on the pill? when should my period start? I am sexually active and i have had sex while off the pill but with protection of condoms or finishing orally.

Go back on the pill. When you take the pills intermittently like you did (with normal life events, this is very common), having irregular bleeding and not starting at the normal time is common. Assuming you haven't gotten pregnant in the meantime (it is remotely possible but unlikely), just start the pills again. Depending on where your body is in its cycle, you may have some bleeding while you're taking the pills this month but just start the pills and either this month or next month, you'll be back on track. Worth screwing up your pills to go to France. Hope you had fun.
