“Why am I experiencing muscle pains in my arms and legs?”
I'm a young adult male, 27. I've been experiencing aches and pains at random times throughout the day, mainly in my upper arms and legs. Sometimes, these aches are so severe that I can't get out of bed. What can be the cause? Should I see a doctor?

If you have unpredictable arm and leg pain that gets so bad you can't get out of bed, then certainly you should see a doctor. That doctor will ask plenty of questions to ascertain your history, which is used to lead to a diagnosis.
Your diagnosis could be associated with anything from the nerves and muscles to electrolyte balances, so some blood work to look for viruses like Lyme or EBV, Epstein-Barr Virus (causes Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), may be in order. Wishing you the best.
