After my first chiropractic session yesterday, I felt very tired. Is it normal?

Chiropractic adjustments help restore function to the body. By restoring function your body can begin to repair which requires more rest. Also the improved nerve function, oxygenation and circulation releases relaxing endorphins to help you relax.
Yes. It is normal to feel tired after an adjustment especially after the first few times.
Your nervous system has been stimulated and this may have a sedative effect. Think of it as your body telling you to relax, like a system reboot.
If you pay attention to this then you will feel rejuvenated after you rest.

For some, it is normal to feel that way because of the tension release that the body experiences after adjustment. Without getting too technical about nerves, the adjustment stimulates the nerves associated with the area adjusted which helps the muscles relax and release. You feel it as tired or exhausted temporarily. It should then become more energy and looser.

Yes, it’s a Physiological change to your nervous system, like a 'sigh' of relief and the nervous system is relaxed and ready to rest.
