“Why are my son's eyes red?”
My 12 year old son's eyes have been red for a few days now. Is this from a popped blood vessel?

Usually a popped blood vessel makes a larger blood spot in a discrete part of the white of the eyes. If it is mildly red through allergies, rubbing the eyes, exposure to irritants such as smoke can make them red.
