“Why do I feel my heart beating when I lay down?”
I am a 17 year old male. I feel my heart beating when I lay down. It makes me anxious.

Would not worry about it. We all can either “hear” our heart beating or feel it when relaxed. As long as it’s not veering super fast, but I would let your pediatrician know
This is common and normal. When you are relaxed and your heart rate is slow it is not uncommon to feel it beating. You typically don’t feel it when you are up and walking around but can also feel it beating when you are participating in heavy exercise.
