“Why do cold things hurt my teeth?”
Whenever I eat or drink something cold, my front teeth hurt for a bit, mainly upon contact. Why exactly is this happening? Is there anything I can do for it at home?

There could be a number of reasons this is happening. Most often it is some passing sensitivity. the easiest thing to try is a toothpaste for sensitivity. Use this on a regular basis, but at night before you go to bed place a small amount of toothpaste on your finger and rub it along the gum line of these teeth and just leave it. It is the amount of time of contact that that helps with sensitivity and this product. If after a week you do not see much change, you should see your dentist.
Teeth in the front can be thinner than the more posterior teeth. Temperature sensitivity can happen on all teeth though. I really like the product MI paste, usually purchased through a dental office. Try sensitive toothpaste, get your teeth cleaned by a dental hygienist, and go see the dentist. Early prevention and attention is far better than neglect and larger problems.
