Why do my bruises take a long time to heal?

I am a 24-year-old male and I notice that my bruises take a long time to heal, sometimes even days. Why do my bruises take a long time to heal?

You have a clotting problem. Consult Hematology for a work up.
Are you on any aspirin, motrin, etc. that make it hard for the platelets to work so you make a larger bruise than usual? Do you eat green leafy vegetables that have vit K, which helps a bruise to be smaller? Any family history of bleeding disorders? Von Willibrands is common and makes bruising easy. You may need to get a bleeding profile done and CBC with platelets to make sure your counts are okay.
