“Why do some people startle so easily?”
My wife is one of the jumpiest people I've ever met. She plays it down, but sometimes I worry about how easily she startles. Why do some people startle easily?

It could just be her natural being. Or a traumatic event that could have happened in her past. Or something within herself that might need help seeing a therapist.
