Dentist Questions

why has my cheek swollen up severely after rct? is it normal? and how long will it last for?

I just got an rct treatment done because there was dental abssess build up inside my gum, in area of that cavity infected tooth. since then whenever I ate something I threw up. I couldn't eat for almost two days. after that my cheek started to swell. and rn its so bad, it feels like my left side of the face is falling down. and my tooth still hurts alot and extreme nausea is still there. I don't know if I should panic or let it be also I need to know how long will it take to heal if its normal as I have a trip planned after a day.

You need to call the office where you had the RCT done and have them check it ASAP!!! You can have post op pain with RCT, but constant nausea isn't a usual side effect and you should have them check it to see what is going on!
