“Why is pediatric cancer funding not equal to adult cancer research funding?”
I am a 24 year old female. I recently read that pediatric cancer doesn't receive nearly as much research funding as adults. Is this true? My 6 year old cousin passed away last year from childhood related cancer.

I am sorry about your cousin's passing. Luckily Pediatric cancer is relatively rare compared to cancer in adults, but the incidence is rising, and we MUST get more research funding for Pediatric cancer to help these children and their families.
There is a Pediatric Oncology Group that receives funding I am not sure why approved Cancer Centers don't request more funding to fight pediI attic cancers.
